ABERDEEN, UK – Emerging North Sea operator NEO Energy has awarded a two-year contract to Petrofac’s Engineering and Production Services business.
Petrofac will provide well management and well operator support for 25 production wells across the Affleck, Balloch, Dumbarton, Flyndre, and Lochranza fields in the UK central North Sea.
The company may also support NEO’s future well construction and intervention campaigns.
Petrofac, as well operator, will take charge of direct procurement and management of all sub-contracted services, and will deploy its project management software, Turus.
The company initiated its well operator model in 2015 and now manages 50 wells for various UK North Sea E&P companies, in compliance with regulations stipulated by the Offshore Safety Directive Regulator.
