LONDON – Eland Oil & Gas has re-started oil production from the Opuama-1 well in the OML 40 license in the Niger Delta.
The Opuama field is now producing from both Opuama-1 and the Opuama-3 wells, with gross production of more than 11,500 b/d.
Export of crude through shipping has concluded and the final vessel of three goes off-hire tomorrow. During the operation, nearly 520,000 b/d of crude were transported through shipping and injected into the FPSO terminaloffshore Nigeria.
