OSLO -- During October, the Geowave Endeavour acquired 4,911 sail km (3,052 mi) while working offshore Libya for BP. Towing a configuration of 10 x 8,000 m (33 x 26,246 ft) long streamers at 100 m (328 ft) separation, this translates to 2,456 sq km (948 sq mi), according to Wavefield Inseis.
This acquisition sets a new production record for any seismic vessel, according to the company.
