OSLO, Norway -- Spectrum and Petroleum Geo Services (PGS) have completed reprocessing 7,357 km 2D seismic data collected in the 1980s offshore the southeast coast of Greenland.
Using contemporary techniques for sub-basalt imaging, Spectrum and PGS were able to improve definition of the pre-Tertiary basalt sedimentary section. This reprocessed seismic data is now available as a final pre-stack time migrated product from both Spectrum and PGS.
The seismic data is located offshore southeastern Greenland between 62º and 72º latitude. This includes the southern part of the East Greenland rift basin.
