HOUSTON – Marine robotics specialist Ocean Infinity has formed a joint venture with Gregg Drilling to provide geotechnical services to the offshore and renewable energy sectors.
Gregg will mobilize its seabed drills onto Ocean Infinity’s Armada fleet of uncrewed and optionally crewed geophysical service vessels, ranging in size from 21-78 m (69-256 ft).
Ocean Infinity’s recently enhanced data analytics capabilities following the acquisition of MMT should help both companies compete for offshore investigations globally.
One target market is supporting offshore wind anchor and foundation design.
