Magseis completes OBN survey offshore Mexico

LYSAKER, Norway – Magseis Fairfield has completed the first ever deepwater ocean bottom node (OBN) survey offshore Mexico.

The ZXPLR crew performed the project with zero lost time incidents and no positive cases of COVID-19, according to the company.

In addition, the crew was actively involved in IAGC’s Ghost Net Initiative. The company said 4 kilos (8 lb) of debris from the water was collected, reported, and properly disposed of.

CEO Carel Hooijkaas said this was the 12^th consecutive project performed by this crew.
