LYSAKER, Norway – Aker BP has formed an “Asset Integrity Alliance” with Kaefer, Prezioso Linjebygg, and Force Technology under which the four companies will jointly provide integrity management and platform services for Aker BP’s operated fields offshore Norway.
“This is fully in line with Aker BP’s strategy of restructuring the value chain throughlong-term framework agreements and alliances,” says Svein Jacob Liknes, acting svp Operations.
“The objective of the integrity alliance is to work more efficiently together with our strategic partners. When we work together as an integrated team, our assignment is to reduce costs and remove activities that do not create value.
Liknes added: “The alliance partners will cooperate in one fully-integrated organization under one management. We are not a legal entity, but we have a mutual commitment through an overarching alliance agreement which mandates that we shall work in the best interests of all parties.”
