McDermott to deliver platforms, ancillaries to two offshore Vietnam fields

HOUSTON – PSTC Offshore Service has subcontracted McDermott for transportation and installation of various platform and subsea structures at Idemitsu Kosan’s Sao Vang and Dai Nguyet gas/condensate field developments offshore Vietnam.
The work scope will likely cover the central processing platform jacket, topsides float-over, wellhead platform, flexible pipelines, subsea power cables and auxiliary services, with subsequent installation in water depths ranging from 110-130 m (360-430 ft).
McDermott plans to deploy resources from Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, and Houston for project management and engineering, with the work due to be performed from 2019-2021.
