BANGKOK, Thailand – InterMoor has completed an installation program for the new FSOBenchamas 2 in the Gulf of Thailand, built by MISC Berhad for operator Chevron.

The vessel replaces the FSOBenchamas Explorer, which had been in service in block B8/32 since 1999.

In addition, the company chartered two anchor handling tug supply vessels for station keeping during hookup of the FSO, and provided engineering and analysis to support this program and installation of the riser system.

TheBenchamas 2 is turret-moored and connected to the existing mooring system and piles in 71 m (233 ft) of water.
