LONDON – EnQuest says the FPSO for the Kraken field arrived early this week at the offshore location in the UK northern North Sea, following a voyage from the Asia/Pacific region.
Hook up of the submerged turret production buoy mooring system to the FPSOArmada Kraken, was completed on Wednesday.
A full rotation test has been performed with the vessel now on station and securely moored.
Commissioning work will continue on the topsides, along with reconstruction of the turret area pipework and connection of the risers and umbilicals to the swivel stack, followed by commissioning of the subsea infrastructure.
EnQuest anticipates first oil this spring.
