UK departments receive North Sea Liberator proposals

i3 Energy has submitted an environmental statement for the development of its Liberator field in the central North Sea to the UK’s Department for Business, Environment and Industrial Strategy.

WESTHILL, UK – i3 Energy has submitted an environmental statement (ES) for the development of its Liberator field in the central North Sea to the UK’s Department for Business, Environment and Industrial Strategy.
The ES is a mandatory step in the approval process for i3’s plan, which involves a tie-in to the existing Blake field infrastructure.
John Woods, the company’s chief developments officer, said: “We continue to make excellent progress through the planning and approvals required to allow us to execute the field development during 2018.”
