PERTH, Australia – Woodside Energy has awarded Wood Group a $6-million contract to support the Greater Western Flank Phase 2 (GWF-2) project on the North West Shelf (NWS), offshore Western Australia.

This involves development of the Keast, Dockrell, Sculptor, Rankin, Lady Nora, and Pemberton fields.

Over a period of 15 months, Wood Group’s Perth office will provide engineering support for the subsea pipeline system during fabrication and construction.

This is the company’s third contract for the GWF-2 project, following completion of detailed engineering design and procurement activities for the pipeline system.

GWF-2 represents the next phase of gas supply to the existing NWS infrastructure, following the Persephone subsea project.

Wood Group also currently provides engineering, procurement, and construction management services to Woodside’s brownfield projects team, including modification and refurbishment services across various offshore facilities.
