Saipem says it has been awarded a new E&C Offshore contract by Saudi Aramco for engineering, procurement, and construction activities offshore Saudi Arabia.

MILAN – Saipem says it has been awarded a new E&C offshore contract by Saudi Aramco for engineering, procurement, and construction activities in Saudi Arabia, under the long-term agreement renewed in 2015 until 2021.
The contract’s main scope of work includes the engineering, procurement and construction of a new 42-in. offshore pipeline, which will replace an existing one; and other miscellaneous activities for the upgrade of the Manifa water injection system.
Saipem also says it has been assigned additional works regarding previously awarded engineering and construction projects offshore West Africa.
The total value of these new awards is approximately $400 million.
