EDINBURGH, UK – Following a recent meeting with Cameroon’s government, the offshore Etinde joint venture will convene a technical workshop to help determine the optimum development solution(s) for the field.
According to partnerBowleven, these include floating LNG, gas-to-power, and processing of the gas and associated liquids nearby in Equatorial Guinea using existing facilities.
Etinde holds sufficient resources to support one initial offtake solution, Bowleven added, and planned appraisal drilling will targeting un-risked P90 in-place volumes of up to 2 tcf of gas and associated liquids.
If proven, this would provide the scope for multiple offtake solutions for Etinde. Timing of the drilling campaign will depend in part on which development scheme proceeds initially.
