Offshore staff
WINDSOR, UK -- North Norfolk District Council has approved the onshore planning portion of the offshore Baird gas storage project.
This is a joint venture between Centrica Storage (CSL) and Perenco UK, which aims to store gas for the UK market in the decommissioned Baird field in the southern North Sea, 86 km (53 mi) off the North Norfolk coast.
The planning consent relates to an onshore gas reception terminal and pipeline landfall.
