ABERDEEN -- Maersk Oil North Sea is planning to increase production from its Gryphon field in UK North Sea blocks 9/18a and 9/18b.
The company will apply to the UK’s Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) to drill and tie back three further wells through existing infrastructure to the Gryphon FPSO.
Maersk says the environmental aspects of the production increase have been noted in an environmental statement, which has already been submitted to DECC.
