LONDON – Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) and Brunei LNG (BLNG) have awarded Petrofac and Serikandi Oilfield and Services a multi-year engineering design services contract in Brunei.
BSP’s main activity is exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas from offshore and onshore fields. According to Petrofac, BLNG, formed in 1969, was the first LNG plant in the Western Pacific to pioneer large-scale liquefaction of natural gas.
Petrofac, as technical services provider, and Serikandi will provide engineering covering all phases of the asset lifecycle for all the clients’ offshore and onshore facilities, with engineering and design performed in Brunei (the team will be based in Kuala Belait).
