HOUSTON – Equinor has renewed a contract with Oceaneering International covering provision of maintenance, reliability, and integrity management of offshore and onshore facilities in Norway.

The contract was first awarded to Oceaneering’s integrity business in 2005 and then competitively re-tendered in December 2013, and now runs through December 2020.

Oceaneering will develop maintenance programs and procedures, including a full maintenance build, advisory and analysis capability, in addition to providing digitalization and visualisation support.

The company will manage this work from Norway. Under separate agreements Oceaneering’s asset integrity business provides maintenance engineering to Equinor from Aberdeen, Houston, and Rio de Janeiro, and the company also provides the Norwegian operator with ROVs, integrated subsea tooling, engineering and new technology solutions.
