Esso Exploration Angola (Block 15) has awarded GE Oil & Gas a contract for subsea production equipment for Kizomba Satellites, a new deepwater oil production project off the coast of West Africa.

LUANDA, Angola - Esso Exploration Angola (Block 15) has awarded GE Oil & Gas a contract for subsea production equipment for Kizomba Satellites, a new deepwater oil production project off the coast of West Africa.
The Kizomba Satellites project links to the existing Kizomba A and B field developments. According to the agreement, GE will supply subsea trees; manifolds; jumpers and connectors; controls equipment; umbilical termination assemblies (UTAs); subsea distribution units (SDUs); and flying leads. Topside equipment will be installed on the Kizomba A and B FPSOs, GE says.
