COPENHAGEN, Denmark – Mærsk Oil and Gas has submitted a plan to the Danish Energy Agency for further development of the Tyra Southeast oil and gas field.
The company is looking to install a new four-legged, 16-slot wellhead platform, bridge-linked to the existing TSEA platform in the Danish North Sea.
Lift gas for old and new wells would be supplied through a new pipeline fromTyra East, and a new combined power and communication cable would be routed along the new pipeline.
Maersk estimates total investments of around DKK 4.7 billion ($803 million), including 12 new production wells, designed to deliver roughly 4.6 billion Nm3 gas and 3.3 MMcm of oil.
