MONACO – SBM Offshore says the progress on Talisman’s MOPU jackup platform on the Yme field in the Norwegian North Sea continues to be dogged by delays.
In recent months, weather conditions in the North Sea have been exceptionally bad, leading to the client-supplied accommodation vessel being unable to remain on station next to the platform.
SBM Offshore is investigating an appropriate response to these circumstances and evaluating the related schedule and cost impact.
