TANANGER, Norway – ConocoPhillips Norway says the Eldfisk II project in the southern Norwegian Sea has entered the commissioning phase following installation of the Eldfisk 2/7 S platform topsides.
Last month the two topsides modules were transported from Kværner’s yard in Stord and lifted into place at the Eldfisk Complex.
At peak, around 550 personnel will be working to complete the platform, connect systems, and prepare for production from new wells during 1Q 2015.
In parallel, there will be modifications on existing installations at Eldfisk.
