ABERDEEN, UK -- Installation of the new Sevan 300 floating production unit, Hummingbird, has been completed on the Chestnut field. Offshore hook-up and commissioning work is ongoing. First oil is anticipated in 2Q 2008.
Meanwhile, theNoble Julie Robertson jackup drilling rig completed the Ensign appraisal well. The well is being production tested. Subject to results, first gas is expected in the second half of 2009.
Also, Venture continued drilling on the Selkirk appraisal well. The well has proved up commercial reserves and the operator has started development planning.
