Transfield Worley get hook-up, commissioning of North Rankin B

Woodside has signed an A$65-million ($69-million) contract with Transfield Worley Services for hook-up and commissioning of the North Rankin B platform.

PERTH, Western Australia – Woodside has signed an A$65-million ($69-million) contract with Transfield Worley Services for hook-up and commissioning of the North Rankin B platform. The platform is part of the North West Shelf project and is 135 km (84 mi) off the northwest coast of Western Australia.
The scope of work includes labor and materials involving the pre-commissioning and commissioning of systems for the integrated float-over deck.
Work begins immediately, says Transfield, which is a 50/50 joint-venture between Transfield Services and WorleyParsons.
