Offshore staff
SCHIEDAM, the Netherlands --Wintershall Noordzee’s multi-purpose platform P6-S has relocated to the Dutch offshore Q quadrant.
KCI Engineering designed the self-installing floating platform in the 1990s for Clyde Petroleum. The company also prepared the procedures forremoval from the P6-S location, the tow, and subequent installation at the new Q1-D site.
Additionally, KCI managed the associated topside modifications, structural strength analysis for the Q1-D platform, and detailed design for the new Q1-D pipeline.
