Offshore staff
FORNEBU, Norway – Idemitsu Oil and Gas has commissioned Aker Solutions to provide engineering services for two oil and gas field developments in the Nam Con Son basin offshore southern Vietnam.
This will be Aker Solutions’ first job for Idemitsu in theAsia/Pacific region. The nine-month contract covers front-end engineering and design (FEED) for the Sao Vang and Dai Nguyet fields in blocks 05-1b and 05-1c.
Based on the findings,Idemitsu will take an investment decision for the first phase of development.
The project will engage around 100 Aker Solutions engineers, designers, and drafters at the company’s regional hub in Kuala Lumpur.
