HOUSTON – McDermott has completed its first delivery of structures for TotalEnergies’ Tyra redevelopment in the Danish North Sea, with two bridges and a flare departing Indonesia in late August.
The company’s Batam yard is responsible for the Tyra East G (TEG) natural gas processing topsides, two 328-ft (100-m) bridges and a 449-ft (137-m) flare.
Now the focus is on construction close-out on the TEG module in preparation for onshore commissioning and sail away next year.
The Tyra field center has historically processed more than 90% of Denmark’s gas production.
