KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – TotalEnergies has selected Yinson to perform preliminary front-end engineering design (pre-FEED) for two FPSO projects offshore Angola and Suriname.
Located 160 km (99 mi) from Luanda, the Angola FPSO will be installed in block 20/21 in 1,400 m (4,593 ft) of water.
Located 150 km (93 mi) from Paramaribo, the Suriname FPSO will be installed in block 58 in about 2,000 m (6,562 ft) of water.
The pre-FEED will provide TotalEnergies with technical and commercial lease and operate proposals, including solutions to reduce emissions, within 32 weeks from the agreement date. Yinson’s Oslo office will execute the pre-FEED.
Yinson’s CEO of Offshore Production, Flemming Grønnegaard, said that the pre-FEED awards were the company’s first projects with TotalEnergies.
Technip Energies will perform the topsides design.
