KenzFigee supplying cranes for NnG offshore substation topsides

HSM Offshore, in close cooperation with Iv-Offshore & Energy, has contracted KenzFigee to provide two 3-ton electric-hydraulic Ram Luffing cranes for the Neart na Gaoithe wind farm off Scotland.
ZAANDAM, the Netherlands – HSM Offshore, in close cooperation with Iv-Offshore & Energy, has contracted KenzFigee to provide two 3-ton electric-hydraulic Ram Luffing cranes for the Neart na Gaoithe (NnG) wind farm.
The 1300 type Ram Luffing design cranes have a box boom with a length of 12 m (39 ft), a SWL capacity of 3 tons from deck as well as supply boat.
The cranes will be built, assembled, and tested at the company’s premises in Zaandam, the Netherlands. In June 2020 they will be shipped to the HSM Offshore construction yard in Schiedam for installation on the offshore substation.
The ESB and EDF Renewables-owned 450-MW Neart na Gaoithe wind farm will be 15.5 km (9.6 mi) offshore Scotland.
