    Another South Pars platform installed offshore Iran

    Pars Oil and Gas Co. has completed installation of the third platform for phases 22-24 of the South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf.

    TEHRAN, Iran – Pars Oil and Gas Co. has completed installation of the third platform for phases 22-24 of the South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf.

    According to news service Shana, the platform, built at the SADRA yard in Iran, is allocated to Phase 23 and is the second main installation for the project.

    The 2,500-ton structure, installed earlier this week using the HL-5000 barge, will have a gas production capacity of 14.2 MMcm/d.
