PARIS – Mozambique Rovuma Venture (MRV) has awarded JFT – a consortium between JGC, Fluor, and TechnipFMC – an EPC contract for the Rovuma LNG onshore liquefied natural gas production complex in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique.
 MRV, a joint venture between Eni, ExxonMobil and CNPC, holds a 70% interest in the exploration and production concession for Area 4, the remainder held by Galp, Kogas, and Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos.
Rovuma LNG will produce, liquefy, and market natural gas from three reservoirs of the Mamba complex in the deepwater Area 4 block in the offshore Rovuma basin.
The project involves construction of two natural gas liquefaction trains, with a total LNG nameplate capacity of 15.2 MMt/yr, and associated onshore facilities.
