Previously, Bourbon Logistics signed contracts with other majors already established in Namibia.
The scope of this latest award covers:
Freight forwarding: international shipment and customs clearance of drilling equipment from Houston, Singapore and Antwerp to Walvis Bay, Namibia;
Logistics base services: management of the base and associated services (handling and lifting, equipment management, storage and warehousing, waste management, tank cleaning); and
Marine services: providing the platform supply vessels Bourbon Diamond, Bourbon Ruby and Bourbon Topaz for the program.
Bourbon will manage all logistics operations planning and execution using its Bourbon Logistics Suite software.
