Offshore staff OSLO, Norway – Statoil has permission from Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) to drill an appraisal well on the 1981 Sigrun discovery in the North Sea.
Operations should start in mid-month: the semisubmersibleDeepsea Bergen will drill well 15/3-10 in 108.5 m (356 ft) water depth, with the program due to continue for 52 days.
