STAVANGER, Norway – Statoil has awarded Add Energy a three-year framework agreement for well planning, blowout and kill simulations.
It applies to any license on the Norwegian continental shelf, but could be extended, if required, to the company’s operations outside Norway.
There are options for two one-year extensions to the contract.
Add Energy’s remit covers provision of blowout simulations, kill simulations, emergency response, risk evaluations and general studies related to special well operations, completion work, and production-related engineering.
