Offshore staff
TOKYO – Idemitsu Kosan Co. Ltd., as operator, has confirmed a finding of gas and condensate on a drillstem test at a third well offshore Vietnam in blocks 05-1b and 05-1c. The location is 300 km (186 mi) southeast of Ho Chi Minh City.
Idemitsu holds 35%, with JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Corp. at 35% and Teikoku Oil (Con Son) Co. Ltd. the remaining 30%.
