OSLO, Norway – Panoro Energy has issued updates on its current E&P activities offshore West Africa.
In Equatorial Guinea Block G (Panoro 14.25%), the partners have contracted a rig for a drilling campaign starting late this year and comprising three infill production wells, all of which should go onstream in 2024.
Other ongoing activities include workovers (an electrical submersible pump conversion and behind pipe perforations) and flowline replacements for asset integrity purposes.
Plans are also underway for gas injection to reduce routine flaring at the Okume offshore complex.
In Gabon, the partners are assessing further exploration wells on the Dussafu production sharing contract, using optional well slots under the rig’s current contract.
