ABU DHABI, UAE — ADNOC has awarded three framework agreements with a combined value of $4 billion covering integrated drilling fluids services.
The recipients are ADNOC Drilling, SLB Middle East and Halliburton Worldwide in Abu Dhabi. The award, which runs for five years with extension options, covers ADNOC’s offshore and onshore fields, and it will lead to investments in local manufacturing of equipment and facilities, including liquid mud plants and a waste management center.
ADNOC Drilling’s scope is valued at up to $1.6 billion. The company has expanded to become a fully integrated drilling services provider following the development of its Oilfield Services division in partnership with Baker Hughes.
