    Borr rig to drill for BW Energy offshore Gabon

    BW Energy has awarded Borr Drilling Ltd. a four-well contract for the jackup Norve offshore Gabon.

    HAMILTON, Bermuda – BW Energy has awarded Borr Drilling Ltd. a four-well contract for the jackup Norve offshore Gabon.

    The contract is expected to start in the second half of 2022 after completing its current contract.

    The anticipated duration is 240 days plus options.

    Also, the company has secured a binding letter of award from an undisclosed operator in Southeast Asia for the jackup Thor.

    The one-year program is expected to begin in June 2022.
