PERTH, Australia – Transocean’s deepwater semisubmersible Development Driller III is in Trinidad and Tobago waters, preparing to drill two appraisal wells on the Calypso gas field, operator BHP revealed in its latest results statement.
In the US Gulf of Mexico, drilling is under way on the second Shenzi infill well.
Earlier, BHP completed a transaction to transfer its 35% operating interest in the Neptune field to EnVen Energy Ventures, LLC.
