LONDON – Chariot Oil and Gas plans to take advantage of presently lower rig rates to initiate an appraisal drilling campaign on the Anchois gas field offshore Morocco during 4Q.
The main aims will be to re-confirm the original discovery A&B sands; deliver a production well location, suspended for future use; potentially drill additional prospective sands and thereby establish a larger resource base for longer-term growth.
Chariot has started a rig tender process, involving members from its 2018 drilling campaign off Namibia that delivered a well on time and to budget.
