TEL AVIV, Israel – Ithaca Energy owner Delek Group has issued details of the planned work program for the Fotla exploration well in block 22/1b in the UK central North Sea.
Ithaca operates the surrounding license P2373, in partnership with Spirit Energy Resources.
Awilco Drilling’s semisubmersible WilPhoenix will drill the well around 12 km (7.5 mi) southwest of the North Alba platform.
The program will likely start on June 1 and take around a month to complete, with the well targeting the Eocene Caran sandstone, in a water depth of around 428 ft (130 m). Final planned depth of the well is 6,873 ft (2,095 m).
