OSLO, Norway – Chrysaor has permission from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill two exploration wells in license 973 in the southern Norwegian North Sea.
The semisubmersible COSLInnovator will drill both, starting with well 15/12-25, 7 km (4.35 mi) from the Rev field. This will also be the first well on the license, which was awarded in March 2019.
Next up will be well 15/12-26, 10 km (6.2 mi) south of the 15/12-21 (Grevling) oil discovery.
