OSLO, Norway — Energy software company FutureOn has appointed Stig Wølstad-Knudsen CEO.
Wølstad-Knudsen joins FutureOn from industrial software company Kongsberg Digital, where he held the role of vice president of products. His previous experience includes senior positions with Weatherford and Halliburton.
With an extensive background in real-time operations and development of technology for the energy sector, Wølstad-Knudsen will focus on facilitating global opportunities for FutureOn’s digital design and decision-making platform, FieldTwin.
Rodrigo Ferraz
FutureOn has further positioned itself for international growth with the appointment of Rodrigo Ferraz to the newly created role of head of market development, Latin America. A business consultant specializing in the digital transformation of companies in the energy sector, Ferraz has been FutureOn’s local agent in Brazil for the past three years and will focus on growing FutureOn’s presence in the region.
Last month Kongsberg Digital significantly increased its investment in FutureOn, building on an established relationship between the two companies.
