James Fisher and Sons names new head of energy

Neil Sims will lead the group’s full offering of renewable and oil and gas capabilities, products and services.

LONDON  James Fisher and Sons Plc has appointed Neil Sims its new head of energy.

Sims will report to CEO Jean Vernet as part of the James Fisher executive team.

He joins the business from Expro, where he most recently served as product line vice president and was responsible for its Well Flow Management portfolio and Sustainability and ESG transitional strategy.

The company said Sims will lead the group’s full offering of renewable and oil and gas capabilities, products and services, with a particular focus on meeting the growing global demand for sustainably led energy.
