ABERDEEN, UK—James Fisher Renewables (JF Renewables) has entered partnerships in the Asia-Pacific region with Taiwan’s Dong Fang Offshore (DFO) and Ho Lung Power Engineering (HLPE).
JF Renewables will transfer technical knowledge to local teams and provide operations and maintenance, termination, testing and other services for offshore wind developments.
This will also help clients fulfil their local content requirements.
DFO, a maritime engineering, procurement and construction contractor, will provide local vessels, crew and project management to JF Renewables for offshore wind projects in-country.
This will help the company increase the construction and Balance of Plant services it can provide in Taiwan.
HLPE, an electrical company promoting development of offshore wind power and onshore power systems, will provide JF Renewables with access to local project team to complete services for termination and testing, cable repair and fault finding on Taiwanese offshore wind farms.
