Tullow non-executive chair to step down

Dorothy Thompson, non-executive chair of Tullow Oil, has decided to step down.

LONDON – Dorothy Thompson, non-executive chair of Tullow Oil, has decided to step down.

She will remain in the position until the new chair is appointed, and an appropriate hand over has taken place, the company said.

Thompson joined the Tullow board in April 2018 and became chair in September of the same year. She was also executive chair of the company from December 2019 to September 2020 after which she reverted to her non-executive position following the appointment of Rahul Dhir as CEO.
