Energean says the second oil train module has been lifted onto the Energean Power FPSO at the Karish field in the eastern Mediterranean Sea offshore Israel.

Previously, the module had been offloading from Limassol in southern Cyprus.

Post-lift, installation and commissioning activities should take up to six months to complete, Energean added. The additional process train should increase liquids production from Karish to 20,000 to 25,000 bbl/d in second-half 2025.

In mid-September, Energean contracted the heavy-lift vessel to transport and lift the second oil train onto the FPSO Energean Power at the Karish field.

In March, Energean produced first gas from the Karish North subsea tieback to the FPSO Energean Power. Production was reportedly heading through the vessel’s second gas export riser, which was installed in December 2023, allowing increased use of the platform’s gas handling capacity.
