ABERDEEN, UK – Kongsberg Maritime has introduced a new electric multi-purpose pan and tilt unit to its underwater camera system list.
The unit uses Harmonic Drive gearing on both axes to produce a compact, high torque unit. The pressure housing is either stainless steel or Acetal (with stainless steel end plates and shafts) and incorporates a pressure compensation unit for deepwater operation to 6,000 m (19,685 ft).
