Thrustmaster of Texas, Inc. has been contracted to deliver a complete DP-2 portable dynamic positioning system for service on the pipelay barge Gulmar Pelican.

HOUSTON -- Thrustmaster of Texas, Inc. has been contracted to deliver a complete DP-2 portable dynamic positioning system for service on the pipelay barge Gulmar Pelican. The system will use Kongsberg's K-POS 21 for dual redundancy.
Thrustmaster will also provide engineering and design for hull-mounted support and pads, supervision of installation, and on-site commissioning.
