HOUSTON — McDermott has signed an agreement with AVEVA and Aras, a product life-cycle management platform specialist, to develop its asset life-cycle management capability.
Goals include reducing costs and risk over project life cycles, better decision-making, compliance and traceability, and enhanced performance.
The trio plan to integrate Aras Innovator with AVEVA Unified Engineering, AVEVA Asset Information Management and other AVEVA tools and services.
This should benefit clients, McDermott said, through improved engineering efficiency, data control and distribution, and traceability across the full asset life cycle.
McDermott’s global digital and information systems management specialists and engineering IT teams will provide use cases, feedback and testing in support of the program.
